The consequences of rejecting our Savior

Scripture:
He who believes and trusts in the Son and accepts Him [as Savior] has eternal life [that is, already possesses it]; but he who does not believe the Son and chooses to reject Him, [disobeying Him and denying Him as Savior] will not see [eternal] life, but [instead] the wrath of God hangs over him continually.”
JOHN 3:36 AMP


Application:
We’re comfortable seeing God’s blessings, but we should also be aware of God’s judgment. It comes when anyone makes the free decision that they don’t want God’s offered salvation. It’s painful to see, but also fair, when we understand that God gave His Son for them.
God allowed His own manifestation in flesh and blood to be slaughtered. He did this so that we sinful humans could reestablish a righteous relationship with Himself. This Personal sacrifice cost us nothing, but it cost God everything.
Search our souls. If we had given our most precious gift to someone who was undeserving, and that person deliberately stomped it mercilessly into the dirt, wouldn't we feel hurt?
Yet God still offers salvation even to that undeserving person, if that person repents.
But our incredibly patient and giving God still waits on sinners to return to Him. But it has to be their free decision. 

Prayer:
We realize that our salvation came at a great cost to You, Father God. We pray that more people will join us in accepting Your everlasting salvation. Amen.
