Streeeetch!

Scripture:

• "Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; Lengthen your cords And strengthen your pegs.” Isaiah 54:2

• “Then [Jesus] said to the man, ‘Stretch out your hand!’ He stretched it out, and it was restored to normal, like the other.” Matthew 12:13

Application:
Nothing happens when we stay in our tiny orbits.  All good things grow toward God. Flowers, children, sweet aromas that are pleasing to Him (Philippians 4:18). There may be pain as we stretch, but stretching brings immediately with it the feeling of relief. We grow into our enlarged boundaries, and that feels good.

When we dare to stretch, we find God is waiting at our fingertips.


Prayer:
Dear God, I’m ready to stretch, to reach beyond where I am at this very moment. I will go as far as You lead me. Gently bring me to where I should be. Amen.
