Scripture:
“After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.””. Matthew 2:1-2 (NIV) Application: What this scripture is telling me that the journey to Christ is worthwhile. Some travel far. Some don't. No matter the distance, we all have to make the choice where to heed the Lord's call or not. As people who have decided to follow Jesus, we're like people at the finish line after running a race. 🏁🏁 Do we gather at the drink table celebrating our journey? 💪🏽💪🏿💪 Maybe. But isn't it great to go back to the race course and encourage other runners? 👏🏻👏🏾👏🏼 Better. Let's always encourage each other as well as travelers still on the road. 😇 Prayer: Father, thank You for sacrificing Your dear Son Jesus for us. We pray for each other, encouraging ourselves to continue in this journey of daily application of Your Word to our lives. Amen.
