Relationship.

Scripture:
“There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God." Luke 13:28-29,34 (NIV)

Application:
A relationship with Jesus is the most important relationship there is. It doesn't guarantee that calamities won't happen. But it does guarantee that we who are in a relationship with Jesus will be with Him in eternity. That, in essence, is the whole reason behind Jesus' ministry. 

Prayer:
Jesus, we accept Your invitation to the eternal feast. We renounce all earthly sin and come as we are, humble and washed clean by Your precious blood. Amen.
