Scripture:
“Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.” Galatians 6:1 (NIV) Application: Too often, Christians believe they can rush into sin to rescue someone and emerge victoriously, hands clutched overhead like two victors emerging from a flaming house. But all too often, the house burns with the fuel of two, not just one victim. It’s best to throw in a rope, ask others to join you, pull, and pray. Don’t rush into sin. Prayer: Dear God, I’m so thankful that You have chosen to save anyone who repents and gives their souls to Christ. I’m thankful for the people You’ve out into my life to point me the right Way. Now, I want to help others. Please show me how to do it without me getting trapped into sin. Thank You!
