Scripture:
“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” Jeremiah 31:33 (NIV) “Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.” Romans 2:14,15 (NIV) Application: People may not even know the Word of God, yet they may be in righteous fellowship with Him. Faraway people who haven’t met a Christian or even heard of Jesus are naturally drawn to Him. Why? Before we were born, God took His pen and signed His nature into everyone’s heart. This doesn’t mean the Bible and church are superfluous. The Bible brings it all together, answering every question to help navigate us through this troubled earth. As social beings, we need the church to supply us with fellowship and encourage each other. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You that no one is born without an indelible roadmap to righteousness. Today, help me find ways to encourage others to stay on the road that leads to You. Amen.
