Full moon or black hole?

Scripture:
“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16


Application:
Problems have a way of weighing us down, causing us to forget the blessings God gives us every moment of every day. It’s like a black hole. That’s a place in space where gravity pulls so much that even light can not get out. Let’s consider another place in space.
The moon.
​The moon shines because its surface reflects light from the sun. But even the brightest, fullest moon reflects only about 10% of the sunlight that hits it.
Don’t let heartaches weigh you down. Instead, let just a fraction of God’s blessings shine, turning your emptiness into fullness.

First, dear Lord, thank You. I don’t take your blessings for granted. Now, I want to let my gratitude shine before everyone. Amen.
