Scripture: “Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before. Then these men went as a group and found Daniel praying and asking God for help.” Daniel 6:10-11 (NIV) Application: The world around us will move in fury, unrest, and disillusionment. We must stay centered on God. Eventually, our tranquility will make some jealous and skeptical of our sincerity toward God. Still, we must stay centered on God. Even if we become mocked or threatened, we must stay God-centered and pray for help from our loving Father, God. And while we pray from ourselves, pray for each other. Prayer: We need Your help when trouble swirls around us, Father God. Please reward our focus on You with more bravery and contentment from the indwelling Holy Spirit. We pray this same prayer for Christians all over the world. Amen. Comments are closed.
