Scripture:
“And my message and my preaching were very plain. Rather than using clever and persuasive speeches, I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit. I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 NLT "Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.' Ephesians 6:17-18 Application: We don't need clever slogans from pulpits or secular stages. We don't need "faith-based" messages that really aren't Bible based. We need to pray, and our prayers must not stray from the Bible. When they do stray, they become humanistic, and becoming humanistic is what got us in all this trouble from the start. Prayer: Father, we’re ready to serve to our fullest. So please make us aware when the wolves set traps to lead us astray. Amen. Comments are closed.
