Application:
Some people worship their jobs, investments, or graduate school degrees. They may not physically bow down to them, but they put their full confidence in man-made things that always will let them down.
But God asks us to worship only Him. His assurance is to be our Provider and Protector not just for a career span, but for all of eternity.
Choose one.

Prayer:
Dear God, we choose to follow You and have You as our only Provider and Protector forever. Amen.
