Bad begats worse.

Scripture::
“Ahab son of Omri did more evil in the eyes of the Lord than any of those before him. He not only considered it trivial to commit the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, but he also married Jezebel daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians, and began to serve Baal and worship him.”

Application:
An evil person, deed, or thought grows and spreads like yeast throughout dough. The limits of sin stretch into unimaginable territories, so that things we once considered abhorrent become commonplace in a corrupt environment. 
But God can put an end to anything that's evil. 
We must recognize our sin, confess it, and seek His forgiveness. Repentance puts us on the narrow, righteous path of peace and love. 

Prayer:
Your living Word teaches us, dear Lord, that evil increases if left unchecked. We confess our sins and lay a foundation for Holiness. Amen. ​
